Groundbreaking for Conservation Genetics Center

Today was the ceremonial breaking of the ground for the Orrin Pilkey Marine Sciences and Conservation Genetics Center. Today was the ceremonial breaking of the ground for the Orrin Pilkey Marine Sciences and Conservation Genetics Center. The ~10,000 square foot building, will be located on Pivers Island with views of the Rachel Carson Preserve, and will have state-of-the-art molecular sciences laboratories, offices for faculty and students, a molecular-oriented teaching laboratory and other collaborative space. The Johnson Laboratory is excited to move into the building in Fall 2013 and to be part of this wonderful opportunity.
